I write picture books and middle-grade novels, sometimes alone, sometimes with other people. I live in Massachusetts with my family. My dog Scout and my criminal cat Loki make me happy with their requests for love and treats. One of my favorite things to do is upcycle old bottles and postage stamps and make useful things and art. In the summer, I love to swim in Boston Harbor.

This is me before going to an Elton John concert in Nashville with my besties from my junior year abroad in college. It was a very sparkly night. I borrowed the jacket from the one person I knew would definitely have a sequined jacket--Sam!
